Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, hopfig, fruchtig mit etwas Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is grainy, grassy, caramelly and papery. Pours cloudy amber color with thin creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel, following is lightly toasted, grainy, grassy and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not outstanding, but well palatable...

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy amber pour, lots of visible carbonation. One finger soapy white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, herbal and grainy, wheat and grass notes. Thin to medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Texture has slight chewiness to it, quite pleasant on the palate. Mild grainy bittersweet taste. Subtle caramel malt, wheat and grains, grass, subtle hop character. Mild fruity sour notes. Slightly dry, lingering herbal spiciness. Nicely balanced malt sweetness in the background. Solid brew. Refreshing.

Bottle from a local getränkemarket in Feldkirchen. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy. Shy caramel notes. Finish could show more character. Okay.

Tap at the source in Austria. Pours light/bright amber color a bit unfiltered, frothy off-white head. Nose is rustic, some caramel, roasted malt. Mouth: medium carbonation, body is thin, malty, less simple compared to the classic but quite a limbo-beer again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
