Bottle. Aroma yeasty, basementy, slightly rotten fruits. Very dark colour. Taste is assertively roasty, dark malt flavours, light dried fruits, prunes. Could use more body as a sweet stput. Quite good after all.

Eines der ersten Biere dieses Typs in Österreich, Es überzeugt durch einen süßlich angehauchten, volen Geschmack und ist sicher etwas besonderes, wenn es auch den klassischen Biertrinker überfordern kann.

Butilka(from Vienna via Quack-Duck!):Very dark amber coloured, but not absolutely black, small off-white foamy layer, presumably hazy; sweetish nose, mild traces of toasted malt, yeast and chocolate, some dried fruits dtectable, too; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, relatively soft and nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering bitter-chocolatey finish. Just good…

bottle from Ostermarkt am Hof, Vienna. Deep brown, almost black, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Full-bodied, lots of coffee, cocoa, chocolate and dried fruit such as dates and figs. Not too sweet, just right.

Bottle from easter market Am Hof, Vienna. Dark brown to black body, with a medium, creamy, tan head. Nice, full aroma of coffee, milk chocolate, dark fruits, liquorice, wood, some creamy sourness. Taste is dry, moderate roasty-bitter with coffee, dark chocolate, wood, dark fruits and a distinct milk aroma from the background. Mouthfeel is medium, creamy, with a lively carbonation and it finishes dry, moderate roasty-bitter, wooden, with coffee and some dark fruit and milk sourness. Very good! Maybe the taste and the mouthfeel are a bit too light, while the carbonation is a bit too dominant, but overall really interesting and quaffable and definitely the best beer from this brewery I’ve had so far!
