Bottle shared by ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Bruna scura, schiuma media beige, media persistenza. Al naso sentori di cioccolato, melassa, zucchero di canna. In bocca è tremendamente sbilanciata sul dolce, zuccherosa, note di cioccolata, anche leggero frumento. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione leggera. Sweet stout non significa (o non dovrebbe significare) dolcione! Da rivedere.

Bottle at a private tasting in Rome-Italy, with daniele and Mortlach. Black pour with caramel highlights, tick medium ivory foam. Nose: stout character, a bit chocolate. Mouth is mild, grainy burnt malts.

Pours nearly black, good, light brown head. Smell is very mild. Some coffee, mild roastyness ( and it’s bitterness ) Taste is rather bitter, creamy indeed. Some chocolate, no coffee though. Nice mf and carbo. OK

Pours a pitch black, topped with a small and non-lasting beige head that is immediately gone. Mild chocolate nose with some dry fruits and a bit of berries. Very gentle. Roasty, quite with some chocolate sweetness and a bit of alcohol warmth in the finish. Very light and thin body. Not bad, but could do with much more body.

Bottled. A black beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, bread, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of roasted nuts, cocoa. Taste is roasty dark malty, nutty, notes of cocoa, a touch of cola, mild liquorice, some roast bitterness, subtle sweetness.

Many thanks to Werckmeister for this bottle! The beer starts smooth and nice dark. Milk-chocolate, nice fresh with not too much bitterness. The body is full and dark malty, round but not ans smooth as it could be. A bit grainy with low parts, the depth comes back in the aftertaste with a (probably a bit too much) sweetness over the dark malt layer. But still a nice brew with not much bitterness.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and breadish. Bitter, caramelish and toasted. Lingering breadish and chocolate malty finish.

Sehr dunkel braune Farbe, schöne stabile beige Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr schokoladig, Vanille. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, Vanille, Schokolade, etwas Kaffee, gut.
