Klassisch rotbraune Farbe.

Malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, fruchtig nach Waldbeeren, leicht röstmalzig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

0,33 bottle. Extra long lasting, nice IPA-typical big head, the high extract is visible on the beer (and at the bottom). Nice deep brownish color. The aroma is citrusy, with some caramel in the background, and various fruits. A truly special beer. Full-bodied, later chocolate flavor and aroma emerge, like a hoppier buck beer, with Styrian hops emerging from the background. Very delicious, highly recommended!

Bottle. Muddy deap amber colour. Decent ivory head. Aroma: earthy hop, forest berries, toasted malts. Light body. Taste: dry, hoppy, earthy, somewhat malty. Medium minus bitterness. Interesting.

33cl bottle from herrklemann, local swap 3/2018. Poured dark brown in color, thick off white head. Quite malty nose with caramel, rye and bready notes. Nutritious. Bready, sweet, rye spiciness and hops. Full bodied. Chocolate notes in finish. Decent brown ale.

The lovely brown colour, the big foamy head, the smell of fruits and coffee, the sweet and bitter taste. A nice Brown Ale.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2018-1 thanks to Herrklemann] @ home. Nice dark red-brown color, huge foamy off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, a bit caramel, lightly brown sugar. Taste malts, brown malts, malt bitter, iron, a bit sweet like some kind of distant red-blue fruit (blueberries or raspberries for instance) and a bit bitter. Decent body, low to average carbonation. Hmm ok beer.

330mml bottle as part of the European Local Swap 3/2017, many thanks to herrklemann for this one. Tasted on the 04/11/2017 at home. Opaque brown colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of malts, dried fruits, minerals and some caramel. Taste is almost the same with a big presence of roasted malts and dried fruits. Full body and light bitter finish. Next one please!

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Murky brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, earthy, some fruits as well. Taste is chocolate, bready, sweetish, a bit herbal-earthy. Fruity aftertaste. Medium to high carbonation, quite yeasty. Not bad!
