Can at SBWF2015. Clear amber color, small steady white head. Bready, light caramel. Medium-bodied. Sweetish caramel, crystal malt. Light hoppyness. Easy, malty, balanced flavor. Nose was not so good.

Can @Sbwf15. Pours dark amber with a thin off white head. Caramel, bready notes, malt, hops. Flavor has more sweet notes, hint of chocolate, toffee. Mild bitterness. Ok.

Reddish to brown colored, small to moderate beige head. Aroma is of caramel, some candylike fruits and bit of chocolate and roasted notes. Taste is low to medium sweet caramel, more chocolate than roasted, some fruits, low to medium bitterness. Low to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Aroma is not worth mentioning while the flavor leaves a better impression but overall nothing special.

It’s a dark shade of amber, with compact head. Strong aroma and flavor of cereals, also some maple syrup and nuts, with low bitterness, and a hint of flowery elegance.

Bottle, 355 ml at O’hara, Zagreb. Shared with JFK10000. Pours dark orange to brown with off-white head. Toasted malts, light fruitiness, caramel, light hoppy. Medium bodied.

On tap at VCBW Festival, pours a deep dark amber with a small white head. Nose and flavour of toasted malt, some toasted caramel, and a decent hop component. Well-balanced between the malts and hops. Solid amber.

Bottle @ home. Best before August 2015. Pretty hazy dark amber color, huge white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, sweet, jam. Taste lightly malts, slightly caramel, sweetish, jam, a hint of red fruit. Average body, slightly fizzy carbonation.

35cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Hazy brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of forest fruits, oxidization, old malts, roosvicee. Flavour is sweet, forest fruits, roosvicee, old malts, light earthy hop presence left, bittersweet finish. Also turned out to be over a year old. That’s what you get when you order online I guess.

New version of a beer that already existed before, apparently. Beautifully warm, deep copper colour, somewhere between orange and red, with some dead yeast bit floating around; medium, yellowish light beige, moussy head retaining well. Pleasant floral aroma of dried orange peel, tulips, pink grapefruit, sundried tomato, hazelnut oil, bourbon without the alcohol, biscuit, caramel, bell pepper, dry cookies, Parmigiano, persimmon, paprika powder, minerals. Taste begins fairly neutral, some dried fruits, restrainedly sweetish, minerally, medium carbonation, subtle sourish accent, nutty malt sweetness reminiscent of an Altbier, leading to a medium long finish of earthy and floral, only slightly citrussy hop bitterness; body is on the thin side even for a beer of this ABV. Still, a decent and refreshing session beer, I could drink this all day.

Bottled 355ml. - at O’Hara Zagreb. Golden amber coloured, minimal off-white head, notes of caramel in the nose. Slight toasted malt, dry caramel, dog food with nutty notes and short caramel finish. Cheery label, bad beer....
