Amber pour with a small white head. Aromas of malt, white bread and toast, similar for the taste with hints of red fruits/berries.

Cask at Hunterโ€™s Tryst. Clear amber body with a tight off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, earth and wood. Flavour of earth and weak tea. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Well balanced but not the most interesting.

Copper color, thin lasting foam, earthy and floral aroma. Leans way more bitter than malty. Has a dry, crisp hop bitterness with a little malt underneath. Missing some of the expected caramel sweetness.

My final purchase at a convenience store in London, a 500 ml bottle of London Pride. Pulling the cap and pouring into a semi-satisfactory room glass. The liquid is amber with a ring of totally white bubbles. The scent is biscuit with the potential of sweetness. I lift for a drink, grain, white bread, malt, a small bitterness, caramel and slightly astringent. Interesting.
