Bottle, 5%. Clear dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, hop and a little dusty. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, little bread, little nut, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.

Bottle 345ml. @ home. [ As James Squire Nine Tales Amber Ale ].Clear medium red amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sugar, sweet malt, sweet perfume notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, sugary, caramel, fruity notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141121]

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Cleara roma of malt, caramel and yeast, with some hoppy notes. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavour, with rather faint touches of yeast and notes of hops and leaves. Rather watery despite the lively carbonation. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Okay but nithing really impresssive.

Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Caramellic. Light bitter flavor. Caramellic. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

34.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted and breadish. Dry and roasted malty flavoured. Vague metallic. Roasted breadish malty finish.

Pint bottle into glass. Burnt malt nose. A little toffee. Deep amber /red. Substantial cream coloured head. Burnt roasted toffee taste with a fresh slight bitter finish. This is a nice beer. I have seen this on tap occasionally in Sydney.

Bottle at Tight Restaurant, Copenhagen - amber pour with off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma and taste, some caramel malts, light fudge toffee, nutty, some twiggy hop bite, not bad.
