(Bottle) Deep golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with rye bread, citrus, herbs, grass, honey and a touch of white pepper. Malty taste with notes of rye bread, citrus, honey, grass, buttery malt, white pepper and a gentle herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite sweet. Really tasty, elegant and well balanced. A prime example of the style. Very nice.

Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours an almost clear golden/orange colour with a thinnish throthy white head. Aromas of dark fruits, brown bread, fruit cake, caramel, and sweet notes of honey, sugar and candy. Taste has more of the fruit cake, caramel, honey, toasty brown bread. Also a touch of earthy hop bitterness on a slightly sweetish finish. Not as sweet tasting as the aroma suggests. Full body, low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Overall it’s a very nice Bock.
