Tap at the source. Pours golden. Aroma is buttery, sour, fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, butter, malt, fruits. Overall: drinkable.

Tap. Citrus, oranges, vanilla, pepper, sponge cake. Pepper fits in nicely. Bottle didn't convince me that much.

On tap at Beaver Brewing, pours a hazy golden with a small beige head. Nose brings out piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is fresh, with piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Rather potent on the hops for an APA. Nice stuff.

Die Biere der Wiener Beaver Brewing Company werden bei BrauSchneider in Schiltern bei Krems gebraut, die 2018 von Bierpabst Conrad Seidl zur innovativsten Brauerei Österreichs gekührt wurden. Das "Great Lakes" ist wie alle Beaver-Biere nach amerikanischen Vorbild gebraut: Dieses ist ein klassisches amerikanisches Sommerbier mit frischen Hopfen- und Fruchtnoten. Ein wirklich gutes, nicht zu leichtes, aber erfrischendes Bier.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is black peppers, tropical fruits. Taste is juicy fruits, peppery, strawy yeasts. Silky mouthfeel with high, but soft carbonation. Tasty, but the hops are a bit too laidback.
