It’s well below average for the style, but overall it’s a good beer. It’s a bit thin and simple considering the style. Brlo berlin

Gelungen! (4.1.2020.)

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, bit sugary, caramel, banana, soft oxidation notes, more banana. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lovely roast up front, pretty bitter, caramel malts, slightly sweet, some chocolate, thick, alcohol, nice one. Aftertaste: luscious, more chocolate, hoppy touch, bitter, somewhat alcoholic, caramel, sweet malts, lovely beer.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Intense stouty-malty aroma. Starts heavy malty, a lot of coffee notes, some bitter chocolate. Warming-malty finish, still with intense coffee and choclate notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Great!

Tap at TCBW 2019. Pours black with brownish head. Aroma and flavor are sweet, chocolate, malt, roast, slight shit (possibly butyric acid?!). Overall: good (minus the slight shit part).
