A robust Double IPA with intense hop flavors of tangerines, dried pineapples and white oak. The complex malt characters of toasted bread and malt candy help balance the hop flavors but still allows the beer to finish strong with a sturdy bitterness.
Ingredients: water, barley malt (Pilsner, CaraPils, Munich, CaraBohemian), wheat malt, hops (Warrior, Galaxy, Cryo Citra, Simcoe, Armarillo, Citra), Chico yeast.

Can from Craftissimo at home. Slightly translucent dark copper amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is candied pineapple, pine resin, big maltiness - sort of biscuit, toasted bread - some alcohol too. Nice. Taste is big bitterness but also quite sweet and malty. Less fruit flavor on the taste vs aroma, some pine but quite a bit more malt than expected - toasted bread, pilsner, biscuit. Strong alcohol warmth. Relatively light palate for DIPA, while still a bit slick. Good, not as good as other Carbon Brewsβ DIPAs, but solid.
