Sample @ CBC. Pors red to orange. Hazy. Notes of toasted pineapple and citrus in aroma. The rye makes the hops taste less agressive and adds a smoothening feel.

From a 22oz bottle. Opened it up and gave it a pour. Entire glass was foam. WTF? Okay, let it settle, pour some more. More foam. Well, okay. Beer, once settled was a nice slightly hazy golden orange color. Flavor was slightly spice notes, definitely rye. Plenty of hop notes to this one. Nice, juicy and enjoyable. Still have no idea why this bottle was so foamy. No gush, just the moment the liquid hit the glass, it went crazy. Despite it taking nearly 30 minutes total to pour the glass (with ounces going right onto the counter-top and into the sink), it was a tasty beer.

9th September 2012
Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and airy, semi dry. Skunky hop aroma which carries over to the flavour and becomes stronger. Mild grass, mint and grapefruit keep the skunk company. Light herbal bitterness. Underneath is creamy airy malt with that rye kick. Finishes smooth and a little minerally. A curious beer! Odd juxtaposition of flavours but quite drinkable!

Smak och doft av humle, mango, aprikos, annanas. Juicekänsla, frisk och syrlig med lagom sötma. Avrundas av en sträv lite pepprig och fruktig beska. Komplex och smakrik.
