This naturally cloudy amber Hefeweizen has a firm, creamy head and reveals fragrances of peach, apricot and citrus on the nose. The initial impression on the palate is of a bouquet of aromas, including subtle touches of banana plus refreshing grapefruit from the American Chinook hops. The fruity peach and apricot notes from the Amarillo hops are balanced by the gentle sweetness of the caramel malt. The beer has a delicate tartness that melds into a harmonious mouthfeel on the finish.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, bright golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, fairly lacing, white head. Fruity wheaty and fruity hoppy, yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, peach, apricot, hints of orange, mandarine, mirabelle, some clove, nutmeg, white pepper, a grassy-spicy hoppy touch as well. Taste is sweet-ish, fruity, wheaty and hoppy, notes of banana, mandarine, hints of peach and mirabelle, a yeasty spicy touch of clove and nutmeg; smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Excellent!

On tap at Beer Culture, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of clove, whispy wheat, and some light banana. Flavour brings out banana upfront, with lots of floral notes, candied sugar and light clove. I know this is on point, but it's just not my style, so take my rating with a grain of salt.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy and heavy yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Surprisingly well balanced.

Bottle. Dark cloudy orange with an impressive white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is bananas, apricots, wheat, yeast, lemons and hints of marzipan. Taste is wheat, clove, bitter oranges, some banana and citric hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Balanced. This is a really nice, refreshing and easy drinking but rewarding Hefeweizen but not quite what it could have been considering the parties involved.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Tomi. Aroma of banana, yeast, wheat, citrus, stone fruit and flowers. Pours hazy amber orange color with large creamy off-white head, good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet bready malt, following is fruity, yeasty and grainy, mouthfeel is spicy, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Rich and tasty colab...

500 ml bottle. Cloudy honey gold color. Large bubbly hire head. Yeasty wheat malt aroma hints at cloves. Flavor has more yeasty notes, but is chock full of hops. A bit unusual for a Bavarian weizenbier.
