After the never ending battle between the hop heads and sour lovers we decided to appease the two. Using Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand and Citra from the Pacific North West this mixed fermentation brew is juicy, sour and extremely refreshing. Sour & hops in perfect, thirst quenching, melody!

Admin Note: Formerly known as Mash Up the Jam. Name change to Jam Up the Mash announced in August 2018 due another beer in the market with a similar name.

Second round for this beer, best before 06/25, at Amstein. Drinking it tonight relax after a busy between aligro, hornbach and to swim. Good and tasty sour beer, typical sour note and yeast, clear citra hop, dry and mineral, subtle dry raspberry note.

Tap at Hopa. Golden pour, white head. Nose is citric, lightly resinous hops, citrus zest, faint lactic touch. Taste is light to moderate sour notes, lactic and there's citrus zest again, a touch of bitterness. Closes with bitter, tart finish, has ligt body and soft to average carbonation.

Can from the lcbo. Light lactic notes, sour cereals, light citrus. Carb is soft, mouthfeel thin. Finish is tart, watery, light fruit. A big meh.

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is citrussy with strong lemon, lacto, some hop and tropical notes, wheaty pale malt. Flavour is tart and mild sour with a light hoppy bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty lemony, lacto sourness, not my favourite profile by a long shot but this comes together pretty well.

16 oz can. Aroma shows white white mixed with lactic acid. Flavor of stale bread, white grapes, and acidic citrus. Bolder sour finish. I guess it is about what you would expect for the style.

Cloudy, golden color and a nice white head. Nose is fruity, decent hoppy. Tart, lots of citric flavors, faint piny and a short but refreshing finish.
