Weich malziger, ziemlich wässriger Antrunk. Geringfügig röstig, milde Süße etwas holzig. Geringe Alkoholnoten, eher laff. Naja... 10/8/9/8/10/8

Nearly-opaque brown beer, bugger all head, slightly lively. Light malty aroma with a touch of sweet whisky. Flavour has a nice touch of the whisky too, along with raisins, chocolate, malt. Slightly lively on the tongue, just a hint of the alcoholic strength in the background. Doesn’t look very nice but tastes delicious.

330ml black neck bottle in a box, no. 730 of 1681, 9.2 % abv, from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Lasting off-white head, deep rosewood coloured body. Spotty lacing. Modest aroma of dark malts and dried fruits. Smooth taste of apricot, raisin and nutty malts added a backdrop of oak vanilla sweetness. Rounded malt-fruity finish with warmth from the alcohol. Fine bodied. Likable sipper (Shared with Finn and djoeye at Finn’s place in Tromsø 11.02.2017).
