Pint at the gas station bar right by the airport. More taps, more affordable & still walkable from the airport.

Rich gold haze, sticky head.
Menthol, very slight berry, dusty modern sweet citrus hop nose.
Big pine & citrus rind bittersweetness, lingering cool menthol, sweet peach.
Frothy, some sharpness & strong acidity,
Lingering itch, astringency, dusty texture, fluffy, punchy abv.
Modern IPA with hazy hops.

Good.

Can pour, hold color. Nice baked pineapple aroma. Notes of cannabis, baked pineapple upside down cake, hint of caramel and a light bitter finish.

16 Fl Oz can from The Beers of America, drank at home on 26th October 2024. Slight haze to the golden pour, white crown. Hop forward with a mini-sweetness from the candy element. Liked it.

Big pounder 16 oz can. Pour is hazy somewhat pale, with a rocky fading foamy head. Nose is mild sweet off hop IPA. First big taste is big fat hops all the way. Yes, terribly on style IPA. Looks like cloudy IPA, smells like IPA, tastes like IPA, must be IPA? Just asking. What is the candy thing all about? No sense of candy here. It's simply a common flat mouth coating IPA, like any other of the gahzillion common IPA out there, they all taste the same. Why rename it? Can't understand. Just a stupid name for this, JMHO. Candy Mountain and its available mountain candy is a land of sweets and joy and joyness, and sugary goodness. Officially the Leoplurotenter in the cave will lure you towards them and you will lose your kidneys! That's what you are getting with this IPA. The loss of yer kidneys, heheehhhehh.

Tap at the Charlotte airport - clear gold - old school American ipa - clean and dry, with dank hoppiness and potent bitterness - gets a tiny bit abrasive on the back end, but it’s pretty good.
