SOME CAT FROM JAPAN suggested we do an IPA that is J-U-I-C-Y. So we packed up a pack horse and made it happen! Soft doughy and slightly tangy malt lies under bright citrus, round tropical fruit and mild pine resin hop aromatics that underscore the waves of flavors to come.

Pint can from the minibar at the BrewDog Doghouse, 3/17/21. Hazy yellow, large fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, pale malt. Taste is grapefruit, lime, pineapple, resin. Medium bodied, mild bitterness, juicy. Nice. Good thing too, cause this can was $11.00. Overpriced beers in the hotel room, but, I'm a sucker for ticking a beer while listening to the song that inspired it's name. ZIGGY PLAYED GUITAR!!!!

Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, and a nice ale malt. Taste has grapefruit, melon, tropical fruits, soft guava notes, and a little peppery on the finish. Palate has pine, citrus, more soft tropical notes, some resin. Really good.

Super hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of crisp grass, flowers, resin, pine, grapefruit and a very small touch of fruity candy sweetness. Medium-bodied; Relatively rich malt notes show at first with some deep and long-lasting hop bitterness from the dry herbal and especially grassy notes, but a slight peppery bite and a touch of fruits (mangoes and melons) add to the complexity overall in this one. Aftertaste shows a fairly nice balance of malt and hops, with a lot of bitterness, but also a pleasant sweetness from fruits and a peppery character with yeast, grain and some candy sweetness at the end. Overall, a pretty nice and very robustly flavoured beer, with a lot of bitterness, but also sweetness and complexity, while not showing too much alcohol. Good to sample if you can find it and this one is worth trying to find! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-October-2020 for US$5,29 sampled at my house here in Washington on 14-November-2020.
