Thanks Will for sharing! Taster showing deep beet red and purple with no head. The nose shows intense juicy notes of boysenberry. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Lightly tart and mildly sweet with juicy notes of jammy boysenberry.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 9/2019. Pours opaque dark ruby red/purple color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy pink head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of boysenberries, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tang/tartness; and light pine, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of boysenberries, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/lactose and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying, puckering, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tart/tangy fruit, Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, fairly acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an amazing fruited sour milkshake IPA! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of boysenberries, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, and not overly lactic/tannic. Great Citra/Mosaic hop profile. Perfectly balanced juicy/jammy berries/hops and lacto; with vanilla, lactose, malts. A touch of dankness. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing top tier style example as expected.

Draft at HOMES. Pours a thick magenta to violet with a finger of pink foam that lingers, then dissipates. Dark berry, vanilla cream & earthy aromas. Creamy vanilla and boysenberry on the palate. Berry skin, tart wildberry flesh & cream. Very dry finish with more berry and skin notes that linger. Loving the dryness. --- Beer merged from original tick of METAFORM (boysenberry) on 11 Sep 2019 at 20:00 - Score: 8. Original review text: Dark berry, vanilla cream & earthy aromas.
