The Manistee (6.8%) - New label, who dis?! Hop aroma of sweet pineapple juice wafts as soon as the can is cracked! Mosaic and Amarillo complement each other in this easy drinking NEIPA. Flavors include candied pineapple, mango, papaya, and passion fruit, finishing with a crisp bitterness that hints at orange peel.

Draft at the brewery. Cloudy dirty apricot orange-brown body, thin cream head. Fruity nose, mostly orange pulp and rind. Body gummy, chewy, melony, and sweet-rindy, with orange notes and passionfruit in the finish. On the balance, earthier and more bitter than many of their other hazies. Good, but not among my favorites.

Draft at 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit aromas on the nose. Clean and crisp on the palate with some light graininess. Easy drinking with a slightly pillowy texture on the palate. Not as juicy as some over brews from Arvon, but great drinkability. Lychee, tropical fruit and slight gooseberry towards the finish. Light pine and citrus lingers with medium to low bitterness.
