Brewed just like the classics. A slightly grainy and sweet body, with faint hints of floral, spicey, and herbal German hops.

Draft at Rustic Leaf. Pours a clear straw gold with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Crackery malt nose with light grain, grass and faint lemon. Grain husk, pepper and light herbal notes on the palate. Super crushable and very approachable. A touch high in abv, but nice stuff.

16 ounce crowler into lager glass, filled on 6/9/2019. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of pale malts and earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malts and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an excellent German pilsner. All around great robustness and balance of pale malts and earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish; not aggressive. Great clean pils malt showcase; with great earthy noble hop presence/balance. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively spot on style example.
