16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 7/2019. Slow pour from carbonation. Pours very hazy dark ruby red/pink/purple color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy pink head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy red raspberries, strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, strawberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and bready malt/dough notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy red raspberries, strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; and light spiciness/sourness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy berries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, strawberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and bready malt/dough flavors; with a fantastic malt, tart, tangy, sourness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. A bit crisp finishing from carbonation. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy, bready, grainy, acidic, tangy, tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited Berliner weisse. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, strawberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and bready malt/dough flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Great soft feel, and not overly lactic. Amazingly juicy/jammy berries with balanced lacto complexity; with a nice bready malt backbone from wheat, koji, and mochi dough. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example. Carbonation probably made it even smoother.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy plum red with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Big, bright, jammy strawberry notes with black raspberry and tomato umami notes as it warms. Thick and mochi-like on the palate. Tomato, strawberry V8. Great texture, mouthfeel with explosive favor. Really digging the strawberry, raspberry and the tomato V8 notes together. Chunky fruit juice.
