Always brewing to taste and rarely to style, Pilsner is the culmination of our love of American hops and appreciation of easy-drinking styles. Where traditional Pilsners typically feature European Noble hops, our version celebrates some of our favorite American varieties: Chinook, Centennial, Cascade and Crystal. Crisp and bright, with notes of citrus, this Pilsner is refreshingly untraditional.

Can. Clear golden body. Fizzy white head, diminishing. Aroma mostly floral with notes of citrus, grapefruit, toasted grain. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Flavors of citrus, floral hops, light pine. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Clean, crisp, solid. Not a classic pilsner and not meant to be. It's just really good.

12oz can. Pretty good session beer. Sort of drinks like an IPL, which it is by most standards, but brewers intentions I suppose. Filtered orange-yellow body. Thin white head. The hops are nice and bitter, and work with the style well, but still tend to give it a NW Pale Ale feel overall. Clean and tasty, but not really a great example of a Pils...

Can from 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clear straw gold with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely pineapple, citrus focused nose with some crackery malt and light leafy hop notes. A bit more peppery and herbal hops come through on the nose. Dry with good bitterness on the finish. Light and really crushable. More of a session IPA than a pils, but hits the spot on a hot summer day.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 7/13/19. Clear pale gold, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, bready malt. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, pine, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, moderate lingering bitterness, crisp. Solid.
