Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy monk fruit, red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, monk fruit, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, monk fruit, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a delicious session IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, monk fruit, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Feels like Simcoe/Amarillo as with the minute IPAs. Extremely vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; with a great clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp drying. A very enjoyable offering. Extremely impressive style example for the calories/ABV as expected.

12oz can. Had it on tap but it is deep in the backlog. Medium bodied, sort of boring, but a little more depth than a typical Session IPA, and a little less hop centered. Monk fruit isn't a familiar tone, but works rather well here...it isn't dominating or overly artificial like most fruited IPA creatures. OK, unique enough...though I'd call it a fruit beer, as the hop tone is rather mild.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Light stone fruit aromas with cereal grain and grassy, floral hop aromas. Easy drinking but a bit watery and thin on the palate. More light fruit notes (monk fruit I suppose) on the palate. Lingering mineral and grassy bitterness on the finish. A bit light, but enjoyed with dinner.

From a 12 oz. can. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Citrus and grass aromas. Flavors are mild bitter citrus. Okay for pounding sixers at bbq’s.

2,000th rating! Pours an amber from a can, lots of lacing. Aroma of sourdough and biscuit, similar flavor. Not as thin as many other SIPAs. Okay beer.

Crisp deep golden and light copper tinted body with a nice, relatively thin, single centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of grass, hay, resin, light pine and a dose of light caster sugar. Light-bodied, of course; Strong grassy and herbal funk at first with a very dry malt profile showing some biscuits and grain and a touch of lemon and citrus noticeable towards the end, but all fairly dry and a bit of hop and bitterness noticeable. Aftertaste shows a dry but noticeable herbaecous malt profile with biscuits and grain and a touch of grass, light nuts and earthiness and ending with a faint sweetness from caramelised sugars. Overall, a decent enough Light IPA that shows some nice dry and slightly bitter profiles, but not enough complexity or depth and especially dank bitterness that I'd expect from the style. Nice to sample and not a bad option, but not worth trying to find. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 30-May-2019 for US$1,87 sampled a day later at home in Washington on 31-May-2019.

$2.00 can, Beer Run. Pours gold with an inch of off-white head. Aroma is slight citrus, light bread. Flavor is green grasses, citrus zest, bitter berry, alka-seltzer.

Draft pour at The Barking Dog. Clear golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma had a little bit of that DFH sweetness, but the lower alcohol really helps mask some of those more unpleasant notes. Light crispness, light grassy notes. Pretty tasty, with a decent lower ABV. Starting to hope these lower ABV beers are a trend because I'm ready for it.

Grass nose. Clear golden, medium head. Grass and biscuit. Light body, easy carbonation.
