Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo. Pours a clearish amber with a small bit of off-white foam that lingers. Toasted caramel and dried fruit aromas, a bit of berry and prune. Boozy on the palate with more caramel and toffee. A bit sweet. Lingering booze and sweet caramel and fall fruit.

Sample from cask at the 13th annual Smokehouse Mini Real Ale Fest on 05/14/2016. The beer is a dark mahogany color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of dark malts, fruit and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, dark fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty and fruity aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
