Half pint at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Shining brown body with a lacing-head. Dry hopped aroma nicely followed by a flavour of hop resin with notes of malts. Dry bitter ending. Well made bitter (30.05.2008).

Darught. Amber with a lasting, creamy off-white head. Caramel, malt, grassy hops and some blackcurrant in the nose. Dry with hop flavour, toffee malt and a distinct roasted finish. Feels like a close cousin to Nils Oscar’s beers.

Draught @ Svea, Malmö. Pours a clear amber coloe with an off-white head. Malty hopy aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweet malty hoppy flavor with some floral honey hints. Sweet malty hoppy finish with some bitter aftertaste.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a bitter finish. The body is thin. According to the brewer it should be around 30 IBU´s and have Willamette and Styrian Goldings as aroma hops.

From tap@Den tatoverede Enke. Pours clear, dark orange, almost cobber and with a litte off-white head. Light malty, minor metallic note. Flavour is dry hops and light malty. Rising malt flavour towards and into the finish. Dry and light finish. Light bodied and nice bitter dry session beer.

(Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm, 8 Feb 2008) Mahogany colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with dark fruit, grain, orange, chocolate and earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, orange and balanced doses of earthy hops in the finish. A decent bitter with nice balance. (6/7/7/8/6.5=6.9) Rerate: (Bottle, 4 Sep 2025) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, crisp-bread, apricots and orange marmalade. Malty taste with caramel, dark bread, apricots, orange marmalade and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear amber. Buttery with notes of lingonberries. Medium bodied and medium sweet with dense, rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly malt with some syrup, hay and lingonberries. Medium bitterness.
