Tasting at Papsø
Amber color. Light caramel aroma, very lightly spicy, a bit dusty too. The dark caramel flavor is on the dry side, very dusty, with strong bitterness. Mono-thematic. Not my kind.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and hops, as well as just a touch of berries. The body is light. Thanks joergen for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and nuts with a little perfumy hops. Medium body, very sweet caramel and vanilla with some pleasant and slightly perfumy hops that don’t leave much bitterness. An easy drink. 030410
