Lousy Smarch Weather (6.7% abv) is a dark amber/brown Baltic Porter fermented cool and slow with our house lager yeast, then allowed eight weeks of cold conditioning. It's full of coffee, plum, nutty and caramel flavors with a smooth, clean and rich profile. Lousy Smarch Weather has a medium-full body and warming finish.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a deep brown to black with a small off-white head that dissipates. Lovely roasted malt and dark fruit aromas with fig, prune and very faint blueberry as it warms up. Deep cacao nib and dark fruit on the palate. Full bodied and slightly warming, but by no means boozy. Smooth and silky on the palate. Lingering fig and cacao. Great stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lousy Smarch Weather on 25 Mar 2019 at 21:36 - Score: 7
