Most Bohemian beers once were top-fermented. This inspired us to brew Stennis. Stennis is a warm fermented 'pilsner'. We used a very neutral top fermenting yeast strain that produces a clean beer. Three additions of bright herbal hops build to a crisp-bitter crescendo (a gradual, steady increase in force). Stennis falls slightly outside the normal range of carbonation because we think it adds to the c-c-crisp. Won 2nd Prize at the best beer of Noord-Holland provence 2015 competition. A craft beer you won't soon forget....:)

Bottle from hetbiermoment.nl. Pours bright golden with white head. The head stays. Aroma is fruits, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is sweet and bitter, dry, citrus, floral, sugar, malt. Finish is sweet and bitter with some citric notes. Overall: good, hallertau and saaz work really well in this one, would maybe even like tiny bit more hoppiness (especially in the finish).

Fles gedeelt met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft weinig aroma. De smaak is zoet, moutig en bitter.

Bottle @ home. Quite boring. For a pilsener it isn't smooth enough. Other than that it's fine.
