Photon is our light and crushable American Pale Ale loaded with pacific northwest hops. It pours a very hazy orange, releasing well-blended notes of apricot, tangerine, peach, mango, and pineapple. It tastes of soft juicy tropical fruits, hop resins, and a hint of biscuit. A smooth rounded bitterness with a touch of dryness ensures you’re ready for the next sip. This drinking experience is further enhanced with a soft and billowy mouth-feel that has made this the go to ale for the Equilibrium crew, especially when a productive day needs to follow a fun night.

Can pour from The Packie. Foam exploded out of the can and this had a 7-finger white head, but I'm going to say this must have gotten shaken. Nope--wrong. Even after calming down, next pour resulted in 5-finger frothy off-white head with good retention. It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with nice sparkle. Clumps of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus marmalade. Taste follows aroma along with fruit salad and late cracker. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry, crisp finish with lingering bitterness. Overall, wow, the carbonation on this really colored both the appearance and mouthfeel that it threw off the rest. Not complex but decent strength for 4.8% ABV. Not sure if the carbonation is an anomaly or not...

No dating on the can. From Beer Drop.
It pours a hazy yellow with a good head of foam that shrinks slowly.
The nose is full of tropical fruit. Apricot, tangerine, orange zest, super hoppy with little suggested bitterness.
Good golly, the taste lives up to the smell. Exactly so, I reckon. Power packed with the flavours at only 4.8% abv though 1 at a sitting is enough for me.
Light but not too light of a body, it's an overall very pleasing beer.
