Bottle shared at Alex's Birthday. Thanks Matt! Pours a pitch, oil black with a tiny ring of foam that dissipates. Roasted coffee all over the nose with sweet vanilla and maple aromas. Almost like maple dumped into a coffee pot. Thin on the palate with strong roasty and sweet maple and praline notes. A bit too sweet for me and gets to be cloying. Strong lingering roast on the finish. Like coffee and pancakes at waffle house in a way.
