"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

330 ml can. Unclear orange, foamy head. Herbal hops, some pine, lemon, tangerine, grassy notes, some hay and metal. Fruity hoppy bitterness, some malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry hoppy finish. Excellent Lager.

To Øl 3X Raid Beer NEIPL 5.9% This lager version of a NEIPA is cloudy light gold with an aroma that gives me guava, passion fruit and papaya at first. The aroma then mellows into a more generic tropical fruit with some tangy citrus. The taste is much more bitter than I expected with pithy citrus and some dankness. I blame the lack of juiciness on the fact I held on to this can too long. Still tasty but not so juicy, a good IPL - Hoppy and dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,33 l bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a couple of fingers of medium lasting dense just off white head. Aroma of pollen from pilsner malt, some bread and plenty of freshly cut grapefruit, tangerine, slightly grassy. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, texture slick and carbonation average to lively. Finish is long, starts malty and finishes as a bitter grapefruit. Very nice.

Draught @ KCBD18. Pours nearly cler amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with fruity and hoppy touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish hints of malt and fruit and notes of yeast. Hoppy and estery aftertaste. Decent.

Draught at KCBD18. Bready aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Very big stable creamy white head. The flavour is bready and slightly hoppy with a faint light caramelly note and a good hop bite.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with a dense frothy off-white head, settling quickly. Aroma is mandarin, citrus, peel, tropical fruits. Taste is also really hoppy, mandarin and citrus fruits up front, tropical fruits, orange peel, pale malts, light sweet with plenty of bitterness in the finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Best lager I've had so far.
