Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear tea colored brown with a finger of cream colored head that lingers. Sweet malt, tea and light grassy hops on the nose. Smooth with mil carbonation and bitterness with sweet malt flavors. Lingering caramel and toffee malt sweetness that gets cloying and overpowers any hops. A bit too sweet for the style.

Sample at the taproom. Clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a film. Small patches of lacing. Malt, hops and fruit in the nose. Light body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild earthy hop. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/2/15
Aroma: It has a mostly toffee aroma, with some light brown sugar, and spice notes
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color, with a small head, and some spotty lace
Flavor: The flavor has clean malts, toffee, a little roast, spice notes, and a light bitterness
Palate: It has a medium body, a clean mouthfeel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid one. The flavor improves from the aroma's start, and adds a bit of balancing bitterness. Overall, a pretty solid beer.
