The Red Revolution awakens with a copper sunrise framed by a firm tan head. Luscious wheat and caramel malt connect with earthy hops to form a firm alliance. One taste of this Dawn and you’ll join our cause.

Slightly hazy copper pour, with a small off white head. Wheat, grass, lightly toasted cereals. Mouth feel is solid, carb is nice. Low to medium bitter, bready, toasty, semi sweet. Nice

A but muddled. And a bit too heavy on the caramalts. But it’s well fermented. A tiny bit vinegary. Sk adventkal

355ml can. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, grainy wheat, orange peel and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grainy wheat, orange peel, honey, tea and herbal hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a syrupy texture and average carbonation. Well balanced. More of an Amber Ale than Wheat Ale.

Can. Deep amber body. Frothy tan head, diminishing. Aroma of honey, toasted grain, caramel. Sweet start, sweet finish throws off the balance. Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation.

Bottle as pictured. One of my beerdudes gave me this. Pour is cloudy iced tea eye. Smell is mild sweet malt. Thin puffy head. Tongue taste is thicker richer malty magellan. More like an english ale of some sort. Medicinal at times, does not hide its alky content well, it seems more than it is. Almost like an aged higher gravity lager brew, reminds me of melanie's william penn lager, HAH. Yes, malty caramel is present fer sher; sweeter malty caramel with an alky laced backbone. A little creamy and smoother in the end. Thanks shawn! Was hoping for a gentle heffe but, I should have known by the name, hehehheh, its a rude wheat ale! Red dawn, you mean like pollution in the sunrise or the takeover of the US by the roozkies, better call the trumster, he'll know, he'll drain deh swamp and make merricka great again.

Can from West Side. Pours a clear amber with a finger of beige foam that dissipates. Big caramel nose with some sweet cola and light pine resin as it warms. Cola-like mouthfeel, vanilla, caramel. Easy drinking, but too sweet. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red Dawn on 08 Mar 2017 at 22:19 - Score: 6. Original review text: Big caramel nose with some light pine resin as it warms. 12oz bottle. What looks to be a filtered amber-orange body. Thin of white head. The aroma is kind of gross, some earthy mildsour garbage tones on top of the malt. The body is relatively mild, and even though the wheat and amber malt are an odd combination, they work here, as both malts are rather mild. The caramel malts balances it, but also keeps it firmly planted in an antiquated 90s brewpub feel. Not an impressive offering, amateurish.
