Tap at Gambrinus for the Rhinegeist event. Pours a clear copper with a finger of foam that lingers. Fruity esters, bubblegum and caramel nose. Caramel, sticks and a touch of wood. Dry finish, caramel forward. Belgian character is muted.

Sample at Bob’s Bar. The beer pours a clear reddish-copper color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of fruity yeast, earthy hops and malt. The finish is fruity with a yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
