Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Strong nice oyster notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Some roast and chocolate. Oily palate.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Insel-Brauerei Baltic Stout ].[ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Clear dark brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light jeavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, sugary, dark malt, light ash. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate - cacao sweet, dark malt, light roasted, light ash, light dark roasted. Bottle @ home. Pours very dark brown with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, yeast, dark chocolate, cocoa. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, little bread, chocolate. Medium body, lively carbonation, light sweet finish. 090617

330 ml bottle served in abbey glass. Dark brown colour, nice creamy brown foam head. Caramel smell. Roasted malt, smoke, espresso, cigar, tobacco, caramel. Bitter, malty, smoky, salty taste. Alcohol well hidden. Creamy texutre, soft carbonated, full body. Nice!
