A full-bodied and full-flavored stout with notes of coffee and chocolate. Malted rye adds dimension with hints of rye spice with the use of pale rye, cararye malt and chocolate rye. A must try for any lover of stouts.

Tap at Mellow. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of tan foam that lingers then dissipates. Coffee forward nose with some dark chocolate. Light on the palate, but well-rounded. More cacao nib and a bit of peppery rye on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Rye Stout on 03 Jan 2017 at 00:16 - Score: 7. Original review text: Tons of chocolate and caramel. Peppery rye finish. Solid!!
