Draft. Strong coffee, biscuit malt, and light hay aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet coffee, biscuit malt, and very mildly bitter grass and orange peel flavor. Nice body. Really nice beer but not very hoppy.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops, coffee and malt. Medium body with flavors of smokey malt, coffee and fruity hops. The finish is roasty coffee up front with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap at CYO. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Lots of light roasted coffee aromas in the nose with some tangerine and lemon. Clean and crisp with the coffee being well-integrated. None of the green pepper flavor that so many coffee IPAs have. Crisp and light, with a refreshing finish with roasty coffee and juicy citrus. Nice drop Monnik!
