Pours clear gold. The aroma is hoppy with a light fruity complement and caramel malt. The flavor has a solid malty body and considerable hops bitterness with citrus. Very good.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart citrus and cactus. The flavor was bitingly sour with citrus, cactus and cat pee notes. Long finish. Medium body. Pretty bad.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/24/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, spicy rye, lightly toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready/rye malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, spicy rye, lightly toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, honey, spicy rye, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready/rye malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Slightly increasing resin/rind astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, quickly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a great rye IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready/rye malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; despite the increasing bitter/resinous/drying finish. Very dank and vibrant hops, with nice solid malt backbone. Nice rye presence without going overboard. The Citra/Mosaic hops work extremely well with the spicy characteristic of the rye malt. A very enjoyable offering.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

22oz bottle thanks to drfabulous
Pours cloudy orange/golden with a medium sized white head and some lacing. Aroma is piney and butterscotch. Flavors are buttery, grapefruit and pine, zest. Mouth feel is slick and sticky
Ok, but has some diacetyl that takes away from a good beer.
