Bottle thanks to TimE. Pours a ruddy brown color with a tiny bubble of head. A big vinous woody nose. Sour vinegar, red wine, Woody. Sharp and lactic. Decent. Raw.

Tap at Mikkeller and Friends in Shimokita. Pours a hazy, copper blood color with a small bit of foam on top. Oak and dark cherry on the nose dominate with some light balsamic vinegar notes. Body is light and maybe a touch too thin, but very refreshing. Earthy, rust alongside dark fruit and vinegar. Good sourness and more of that dry oak character. Lovely! --- Beer merged from original tick of Brett Brux on 22 Oct 2016 at 18:27 - Score: 7. Original review text: Lits of vinegar and oak. Vinous. Lovely.

Rating from memory (which I rarely do, but accidentally erased my note on this). No head dark brown color. Lots of balsamic vinegar, raisins and plums in the nose. The mouth is fairly dry, almost austere. Low hops. Moderately sour. Well put together and one of the better sours from AJB
