Sampled from the bottle. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grain and musty pumpkin with a touch of spice. Flavor has bread and grain with an earthy pumpkin note and some spice.

355ml bottle. Barely clear amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Arome of pumpkin and spices, predominantly ginger, bath salt character overall. Taste is slightly soapy, I get more ginger than pumpkin; monotonous, uninspired, loveless.

Bottle at home. Pours copper amber, nose is pumpki, spices, cinnamon, taste is similar.

Bottle at horecabeurs . Pours clear amber , almost no white head. Smell is spiced , pumpkin , ’speculaas ’( a Belgian coockie ) . Taste is sharp , bitter, pumpkin , fresh . High carbo . Straight and simple, yet not bad .

Clear amber to orange beer, creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of cloves, more cloves, cooked veggies and pumpkin, some cinnamon, bit rubbery, sugary touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy, ginger, little sour, soft bitterness, bit weird. Aftertaste: little bitter, spicy, cloves, bit sour, meh. I guess I'm not a really big fan of pumpkin beers.

Classic American pumpkin ale, had this one years ago but now re-rating from a bottle bought at Amsterdam's BeerTemple. Off-white, dense, medium thick, moussy, sticky head opening in the middle; colour a pretty deep orange blond with brownish hue, clear. Aroma of the expected pumpkin pie spicing - cloves, cinnamon, dried ginger, next to hints of carrots, breakfast cereals, cornbread, chewing gum, vague dried mango or banana, iron, meat broth hint. Soft fruity taste, banana, slight mango and peach, orange perhaps in the distance; slick caramelly, slightly metallic middle, cereally, with a spicy character built on top, clearly pointing at cloves, cinnamon and ginger again; softly peppery hop accent too, bit herbal, metallic zing lingers a bit, as does a rounded, bubblegummy aspect. It could be my imagination or the fact that I wasn't as used to American style beers as I am now at the time I first tasted this, but I remember this being spicier and more outspoken; seems to have become much more bland than I remember. I have to lower my score accordingly, unfortunately...

Bottle by Cuso. The aroma is intensely spicy and while the spices are individually pumpkiny, it somehow adds up to soy sauce and curee to me. Clear amber colour. Taste is ginger, spicy, more in line with tradition. Overall nicely drinkable, enjoyable pumpkin.
