Lecker!

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home watching the Bears. Appearance is a vibrant dark gold with a nice white head that moderately dissipates. Aroma is nice, rich in pumpkin, nutmeg, and a bit of malt. Taste is kind of strange, gives a harsh flavor, lots of barley moreso than pumpkin. Not a big fan.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours a clear, dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Spicy aroma with nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin. Flavour is pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel with a dry finish. Light body, a sticky, watery texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours orange with small beige creamy head, slight pumpkin aroma, low carbonation, sweetish taste with pumpkin flavor, medium finish with slightly bitter aftertaste. Interesting but not great

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a clear light orange colored body that yields a one finger white head that immediately dies to a film. Some nice ringy lacing appears and no carbonation is seen rising.
The smell had some light pumpkin up front and really that’s about it.
The taste got a little better as the pumpkin combined a bit more with the ginger, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg.
On the palate, it sat light and has the carbonation showing some presence but not overbearing, just enough to show its there. This is an extremely drinkable beer.
Overall, a session pumpkin ale, but I tend to like the heavier ones.

355ml bottle. Nice deep amber color, thin white head. Aroma mostly of pumpkin, spices, not sure which, and wet wood. Flavor has pumpkin, nuts, sweetness and that wet wood again. More tart than sweet though. Not sure about the tart notes, but kinda goes well overall. High carbonation.

Bottle form Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Pours a deep amber with a tight, off-white head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of pumpkins, clove, cinnamon, caramel and yeast. Fairly thin in the mouth, with some cereal malts, a touch of sweetness, a hint of pumpkin and gentle finish. After a decent start, this tailed off badly.
