355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pour clear amber with a decent white head. Very spicy aroma, cinnamon and clove. Tastes a bit like cola, but with a harsh bitterness, and an astringent aftertaste. Like burnt spices. Bit thin too.

Sample at Hal & Al’s during the Pumpkin Beer Tasting on 10/15/2013: Clear orange pour with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of malt and pumpkin spices. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, pumpkin and cinnamon. The finish is sweet with a short subtle pumpkin aftertaste. Average overall.

Pours amber with a large lasting head.Nose shows a little pumpkin with some sweet grainy and biscuity malt taking the main stage.Similar sweet grainy malt as a flavour, along with a little pumpkin. Not great, needs more malt and pumpkin.Nice moderate carbonation.

Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. Insipid amber pour. Nose of spice, pumpkin and fruits. Similar flavour, sweetish and quite light.. Rather thin overall. Didn’t really dig this.

Bottle - Nutmeg, orange peel, pumpkin and clove on the nose. Clear orange with a thin bubbly head. Carbonation really kills the taste. A bit of a burn, almost like alcohol but may be the spices and carbonation. Lots of orange and spice, not much pumpkin or subtle flavors I come to expect or enjoy from this kind of seasonal. Likely much better on tap.

Thin and light. Just the lightest pumpkin aroma and pumpkin pie spices. I am surprised to see this is from Brookllyn, I expect more from them. Light copper color and a dry bread finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; I was going to say this tastes like pumpkin but I’ve never tried it before, I’m going to say it tastes like butternut squash not had one of those either or any other kind of gourd for hat matter. Pours clear light amber, slight vegetable smell, quite refreshing.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a lovely copper colour with a great foamy head. The nose has pumpkin and sweet spice, probably cinnamon. The taste is of more sweet.pumpkin and its more like nutmeg this time. The palate has a medium body and a lovely creamy texture with a perfectly balanced, elegant finish. Overall, a beautifully balanced beer.
