Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep amber / copper with a finger of foam that dissipates fairly quickly. Piney nose with lots of orange, and grapefruit. Resiny bitterness on the palate. A little toasted caramel lends some sweetness. Straightforward, piney bitter finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red House Ale on 15 Jan 2018 at 20:26 - Score: 7. Brown pour with garnet highlights under a generous off-white head. The aroma is toasty caramel malts. The flavor is well balanced between the sweet caramel of the malt and a supportive hop bitterness. Some citrusy pine hops in the finish. Good red ale.
