On tap at Smith & Lentz, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry resinous hops, biscuity malt and maybe a hint of butter. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, light resinous hops, and toasted caramel. Again, maybe a hint of butter that is thankfully subdued. Okay.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear reddish chestnut color with a small head. Malt on the nose, bit of gummy bear, grapefruit and caramel. Clean, little grass and bark mid palate. Smooth finish....light bitterness. Nothing amazing, but a solid beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red IPA on 01 Dec 2017 at 21:56 - Score: 7.
