Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with a tiny bit of head. Big, artificial pine cleaner nose with some acrid black malt. Quite bitter on the palate, with more of this pine air freshener character. Dark, burned malt on the finish with lingering pine cleanser. Not a fan.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of dark grains and bread with a bit of spruce and pine supporting. Flavor earthy dark grains and bread with a touch of spruce.
