Tap at J’s. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of creamy foam. Lovely cocoa forward nose with some light milk chocolate. Smooth and sweet with good milk stout character. Creamy on the palate. Growler: nearly black with a short tan head. Chocolate, oatmeal scent. Dry, ashy, chocolate malt taste. A light ashy and semi-oily bitter. Light, but good solid flavours.

Draft. Chocolate oat malt and ash aroma. Black with small tan head. Sweet chocolate, oatmeal, malt, and lightly bitter herb and ash flavor. Body kind of light. Not bad but light flavor.
