Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a deep, chestnut color with a finger of off-white head that lingers, then dissipates. Toasted malt, light smoked malt, faint grassy hops. Toasted caramel, light smoke. Low bitterness. Smooth with a lingering toasted nutty character, light grassy note. --- Beer merged from original tick of Brown Ale on 20 Jul 2018 at 22:01 - Score: 7. On tap at Smith & Lentz, pours a clear golden amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted nuts and toasted malt. Dry and ordinary. It's alright.
