Malty and mellow. An heirloom variety of a Vienna style malt is the star in this show.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear, copper with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Lovely toasted caramel and bready aromas with some dry malt and grassy hops. Dry finish with toasted bread crust, wheat berry and noble hops. Very enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Vienna Lager on 13 Jul 2018 at 21:41 - Score: 7. Original review text: Toasted toffee nose with light grassy Euro hops. Sweet caramel with dry malt and light hops on the finish. Really crushable.

On tap at Smith & Lentz, pours a clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a hint of sweet cereal malt. Flavour is similar, with cereal malts, straw and German lager year. Dry and easy to drink. Solidly made.
