A full-bodied, decadently smooth coffee beer in collaboration with local roaster Darkwoods.
7 different malts combine with 3 different coffees added at 2 different points during the brew to create a sweet toffee, rich fruit and chocolate depth, accented with notes of vanilla, and hazelnut.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 30th July 2017. Intense sepia black with tan foam. Intense coffee aroma. Coffee in-mouth with some tanginess. A roasty, fresh coffee finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a somewhat lighter body than expected. Very pleasant porter.

Can. Opaque deep brown to black. Small off-white head. Strong coffee bones aroma. Additional roasted malts. Minor hops. Light body. The taste copies the aroma. Dry. Light bitterness. Simple. Too light. Not my case. Sorry.

Can @ Van Moll Brewpub shared with Ferris. Brown to black color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly coffee, dark malts, lightly earthy, soft bitterness. Thinnish body, ok carbonation.

Can. Black body with a fine beige head. Aroma has dark malt and coffee. Flavor is smooth, dark malt, fine coffee, light roasted caramel and dark chocolate. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste with dark malt and coffee. Very pleasant.
