A full-bodied, decadently smooth coffee beer in collaboration with local roaster Darkwoods.
7 different malts combine with 3 different coffees added at 2 different points during the brew to create a sweet toffee, rich fruit and chocolate depth, accented with notes of vanilla, and hazelnut.

0,33l can at home bought from Beergonzo. BB 08/11/2017. black color, rather big coffee-colored head. smells coffee, coffee grounds, earthy, licorice, spices, bitter herbal, bitter chocolate. quite nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, licorice, bitter chocolate, cocoa, earthy. finishes lightly roasty and earthy bitter with notes of coffee, bitter chocolate and some licorice. very nice one, I just wish it had a bit more carbonation, overall very good stuff, especially lovely taste.

Can. Pours almost black. Aroma is almost green coffee beans, some vanilla, peppers, hazelnut. Body is medium, chalky and dusty, not so much flavour anymore, a bit thin, almost no sweetness. Short coffee palate. Good.

Can. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is aromatic coffee ground, green pepper, a touch vanilla. Taste is coffee ground, earthy, espresso, a bit mineralic. Slightly watery, fizzy carbonation. Very nice and hugely drinkable Porter!

Handpump @Ma che siete venuti a fร (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media, molto persistente. Al naso sentori di caffรจ, cioccolato fondente, cappuccino, vaniglia. In bocca รจ rotonda e appagante ma di ottima beva, attacco dolce con finale amaro bilanciato. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Porter eccellente.

Tasted from the tap on the 03/02/2017. Black opaque colour with a medium beige head. Aroma is predominated by the chocolate and the nuts. Taste is roasty malts, chocolate and some vainilla. Dry aftertaste. Next one please!

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with dense beige head. Aroma of coffee, some vanilla and roasted notes, dark chocolate. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied, slightly bitter finish.

Can from Tall Boys Beer Market, Leeds. Pours black with a small off-white head. Aroma has lots of coffee, slightly bland otherwise. Quite heavy sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body and sticky texture, carbonation is soft. Finish is sweet and sticky. Ok but a bit disappointing overall.
